Meghan Markle has been bestowed with a fresh two-word moniker as her 'mini royal tour' with Prince Harry appeared to be centred around her, reports suggest. The duo embarked on a three-day visit to Nigeria, described as a mini official tour since they are no longer considered 'working royals after their 2020 departure from duties, primarily to support the Invictus Games.

However, Dr Pauline Maclaran of Royal Holloway University of London believes that Meghan was the main attraction, particularly due to her ancestral ties.Speaking to the Express, Dr Maclaran remarked: "The visit seems to have gone exceptionally well with the Sussexes receiving very positive feedback from their participation in various events that have all been pretty high profile.

There seems to have been great delight in Meghan's revelation that she is 43% Nigerian and fans there are now referring to her as Nigeria's 'new princess'."Prince Harry has been a driving force behind the Invictus Games since its launch in 2014, and as the event approaches its tenth anniversary, Nigeria is considering hosting it, prompting Harry's invitation to the country.

The royal pair made an impression in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, where they were warmly welcomed, but it was Meghan who arguably stole the show, according to Dr Maclaran, indicating that the focus was predominantly on her.Indeed, Meghan's connection to Nigeria was a focal point, especially when she referred to it as "my country," according to Dr Maclaran.
