Manchester United have reportedly made a second offer for Porto left-back Alex Telles, in a bid to get the deal over the line before the transfer window slams shut on October 5.
United have been heavily linked with a move for the Brazilian but Porto's asking price has been a sticking point.The Portuguese club are asking for a fee of around £18m, while United's opening bid was £12m.The Red Devils have been unwilling to pay Porto's asking price because Telles in the last year of his contract and would be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with any club in January.
Now, RMC Sport reporter Mohamed Bouhafsi is reporting that United have tabled a new bid, having already agreed personal terms with the player.
