Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is missing the influence of Mikel Arteta since his former assistant left the club to become Arsenal manager.
That's the view of former West Ham striker Carlton Cole, who believes Arteta played a key role in developing good players into great players at City.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Cole said: "Arteta was a massive loss for them [Manchester City] because he made some of their players great players.
They came in as good players but he made them great players. "Arteta, as a first-team coach, was unbelievable for Pep and he's definitely a missing component in that team right now."As soon as Arteta left you started to see some frailties.
