Chelsea have outlined their transfer stance over Jorginho amid Arsenal interest. The Gunners have been forced to change their plans in midfield after talks with Lyon over the potential signing of Houssem Aouar broke down just days before the deadline.
Despite also being linked to Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid, Italy international Jorginho is said to be in the thoughts of Mikel Arteta and his technical director Edu at the Emirates.
However, the 28-year-old creator has been a regular starter under Frank Lampard - and scored twice against Crystal Palace on Sunday to hand Chelsea their first home win of the Premier League season.
