Wiley has denied being racist, apologising for ‘comments that were looked at as antisemitic’. The 41-year-old rapper has been suspended from Twitter following a shocking rant in which he compared the Jewish community to the Ku Klux Klan and tweeted ‘Israel is not yours’.The tweets, which went on for a day before the grime star was suspended, sparked a boycott of Twitter and were investigated by the Metropolitan Police.However, Wiley – real name Richard Cowie Jr – has denied that he is racist, and said his words should have stayed between himself and his former manager, who is Jewish.He told Sky News: ‘I just want to apologise for generalising and going outside of the people who I was talking to within the workspace and workplace I work.
