When will high street shops and fashion boutiques reopen in the UK? According to the 50 page dossier released by the Government on Monday, "non-essential" retail businesses are to remain closed for now.

This means that, for thousands of high street shops and fashion boutique owners up and down the UK, it will be at least another month before they are allowed to reopen their doors to customers.

The new ‘plan to rebuild’ states that there is an intention to begin reopening some "non-essential" businesses in phases from 1st June, however those stores will only be opened if it is considered "safe to do so" and said retailers will need to "follow the new Covid-19 secure guidelines".
