Weather forecasters have announced that "proper summer" is starting in a matter of days with a balmy 25C heatwave set to engulf the UK.
The Met Office has already teased that temperatures will be "warm, perhaps very warm" towards the end of May and now other forecasters are agreeing.
Advanced weather modelling maps from WX Charts show that May 19 and May 20 will be particularly hot. They predict that some parts of Scotland, especially near Inverness and Aberdeen, will see temperature highs of 25C.
That would smash the hottest temperature recorded so far this year of 23.4C at St James's Park in London. The capital is expected to hit 24C later this month, with 22C to 23C forecast in the Midlands, the North, Wales and Northern Ireland.
