Scots are set to bake in warmer weather this weekend - with temperatures set to peak at 18C. But anyone hoping to sunbathe will be disappointed to learn that this heat is will be paired with cloudy skies and some light showers across the country.

Most major cities will see light rain fall from Friday with conditions gradually improving by Sunday.Edinburgh and Perth are set to be the warmest by Sunday, with a scorching high of 18C, according to the Met Office.
