Wayne Rooney and Jamie Carragher have agreed on three players who should be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame. The pair were appearing on Monday Night Football ahead of Arsenal and Crystal Palace's clash when they debated the topic.
Both men tabled six suggestions for its next class of inductees, and Rooney agreed with three of Carragher's six suggestions. The Derby County boss said: "I've got some similar there, so the ones I went with were Sergio Aguero, one of the best strikers the Premier League has ever seen.
Obviously, he played for Manchester City, but I think he's an incredible player."Rooney continued: "Obviously, I went with Paul Scholes.
I think, in my opinion, he should have been one of the first two with Alan Shearer."I went for John Terry, also, as Carra said, horrible to play against and I think dominate for so many years in the Premier League." For his other three picks, the Manchester United legend opted for Ian Wright, Vincent Kompany, and Ashley Cole.
