Gavin Henson was the golden boy of Welsh rugby. He kicked his country to their first win over arch rivals England in six years on a dramatic day in Cardiff in 2005.
Soon, his relationship with singer Charlotte Church saw them become the 'Posh and Becks' of Wales. Injuries struck and his rugby career took a backseat as appearances on reality TV followed.
He featured on The Bachelor, 71 Degrees North and, most famously, Strictly Come Dancing. With his rugby career coming to an end last year, Henson, 38, knows he will be "remembered as someone who didn't reach his potential" and admits such a notion is "probably true".
