Trafford council approved two applications that the supermarket had lodged with them – one to temporarily extend the hours in which deliveries can be made to their store in order to support its home delivery services in the area and another to build a warehouse extension on site.
The applications caused upset within the local community with residents concerned about noise levels and huge articulated lorries travelling down the road outside their homes.
