Cyclist knocked down by car outside Edinburgh pub as cops launch probe

Edinburgh last night. The woman was travelling south west on Lanark Road, near Tanners Lounge and Bar, when a White Audi A1 travelling in the same direction collided with the bike at around 4.45pm on Thursday, June 24.The collision caused the 57-year-old cyclist to fall to the ground and she required medical treatment for minor injuries.The vehicle stopped and the driver assisted the cyclist along with a passer-by who did not leave their contact details.Officers would like to speak to any witnesses and are appealing for information.
