East Kilbride Thistle boss Iain Diack excited to return for new summer league

The 45 game-tournament kicks off on Saturday, June 12, and will be EK Thistle’s first game of 2021 after a nightmare season. He said: “It will be our first game in over six months so it will be brilliant to return and have something to play for.“We will only be able to play in the first five games of the league because our proper season kicks off during the event.“So we will fill the line-up with players who aren’t playing, triallists and college boys to finish the games.“I won’t be able to take those games because we will have league fixtures but it allows us five games against decent opposition.”The West of Scotland League aims to return on Saturday, July 17.
