Cricket is set to return with a behind closed doors Test at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton, with last summer's hero Ben Stokes due to captain England with regular skipper Joe Root absent to be at the birth of his second child.
It has been a long wait for cricket fans, with England's last Test a 191 run win over South Africa in January and their last game a warm-up match in Sri Lanka which was aborted so the squad could return home to be with their families during the coronavirus pandemic.
