Warm temperatures are set to continue in Britain through the weekend and into Monday - though things will continue to get more unsettled, say forecasters.
Weather charts show next week will start with highs of 23C in the South East of England, while Saturday and Sunday are likely to be similar despite the onset of Autumn.
It comes after a "very limited" part of England's south coast saw a mid-September heatwave after three days of hot conditions, the Met Office has said.
According to forecasters, a heatwave can only be declared when an area sees three consecutive days of temperatures above a certain threshold.
