Severe fog warnings have been issued across parts of Britain this morning with temperatures set to plummet. The Met Office has advised motorists to be extra careful across much of the East Midlands and into Yorkshire amid thick fog and mist.
The warning, in place from Peterborough up to York, runs until 10.30am and could cause major traffic delays. Brits are, meanwhile, set to be battered by more freezing temperatures this week as the UK's sunny spell draws to a close.
