A freezing -10C Arctic blast is set to sweep across the UK this weekend. The Met Office is warning temperatures could plummet to -10C in parts of Scotland on Saturday morning.
It comes after a period of unseasonably warm and sunny weather across Britain, with the mercury rising to 18C in Weybourne, Norfolk, on February 24.
However, conditions have taken a turn for the worse this week with some Brits experiencing lows of 4C and thick fog. While sub-zero temperatures are expected in areas of the UK this evening, they will be far more widespread on Saturday morning.
