dailystar.co.ukWeather warnings are in place as 85mph gales and heavy rain batters Britain on the first Friday people have been able to meet in large groups outside.Strong winds caused a free to fall on a driver in their car in Somerset on Thursday night, although they luckily escaped unharmed.The Met Office has put yellow weather warnings in place across the south of England, along with Wales, until 9pm on Friday, May 21.Forecasters warned of travel disruption as the country braces itself to be hit, with fears of flash flooding in some areas.Lockdown was eased in England on Monday, May 17, with groups of up to 30 people now able to meet outdoors.But the first weekend under the recently relaxed restrictions looks set to be a washout.Rain is forecast over.
