We met in Dublin when we played together in one of their first shows as Fontaines.“We have so much love and admiration between bands, and they all have been such a big support for us in the last years.

Hinds have shared their latest track ‘Boom Boom Back’ featuring Beck, and announced their new album ‘VIVA HINDS’.Serving as the album’s lead single, ‘Boom Boom Back’ the breezy track features a crisp guitar riff with the duo – Carlotta Cosials and Ana Perrote – and Beck asks “If you wanna fall in love in a bar tonight / Do you wanna fall in love with a broken heart? / Do you wanna ride? Ride in my Mirage? / Do you wanna be the one that feels the “Boom-Boom” back?”The song was the first track the duo wrote for the album following a creative rut in 2020 after the release of their third album ‘The Prettiest Curse’. They went on to join forces with Beck after the duo met by chance at a film screening on a trip to LA.Directed by Perote and Cosials, the track’s accompanying music video sees the two walking and driving all around Los Angeles in matching black outfits. The single is the second song to be released from the Spanish indie rockers’ upcoming album ‘VIVA HINDS’.

Sleaford Mods and The Selecter set to play.The 2023 event saw appearances from Self Esteem, Peter Hook And The Light, The Futureheads, Yard Act and Scouting For Girls. Alongside “dynamic voices of a generation” Sleaford Mods, and the “original two-tone pioneers” The Selecter, Bob Vylan, Dream Wife and Hinds will also be appearing at Rockaway Beach 2024, which is set to take place January 5-7 at Butlins Bognor Regis. Future Islands have announced details of a huge 60-date tour of the UK, Europe and North America – see the dates below.The ‘Calling Out In Space’ tour comes on the back of the band’s 2020 album ‘As Long As You Are’, and will take place across the end of this year and into the first half of 2022.The US leg of the tour, which begins in early September, will see the band joined by Modest Mouse and Hinds on select dates.Future Islands will then come to the UK and Europe in 2022, with a huge London date set for March 25 at Alexandra Palace.See the band’s full list of upcoming tour dates below.
