Two teenagers have been stabbed in a bloody and brutal lunchtime attack at a busy shopping centre. Police were called to West Cross Shopping Centre in Smethwick, near Birmingham, where two teens suffered knife wounds and a boy of just 14 was found with facial injuries.
West Midlands Police said all three were taken to hospital after violence broke out at around 12.15pm today. The 17-year-old suffered stab wounds to his back and a 16-year-old was stabbed in his arm.
A 14-year-old was also taken to hospital with facial injuries and all of them are stable in hospital, a spokesman for West Midlands Police confirmed.
No arrests have been made. Community activist Rizwan Jalil told BirminghamLive that the centre had been rocked by violent crime,
