Police rushed to Manchester city centre and placed it on lockdown after a man's unresponsive body was found in a car – and he has since died in hospital.
Officers were called around 4pm to a report of a man found in a vehicle on Deansgate, Manchester City Centre. The victim, aged in his 50s was taken to hospital where he later died, Manchester Evening News reports.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. Dramatic pictures from the scene show an ambulance in attendance and at least eight police cars.
