Two people rushed to hospital after gas explosion rocks Bargeddie house

Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.TWO people were rushed to hospital when a house was rocked by a gas explosion, with neighbours saying “it was a miracle no one was killed”.Police and fire crews raced to a property in Bargeddie’ Cedars Grove at around 6.25am on Sunday after reports of a blast, with the aftermath showing the charred shell of the building hit by the explosion with pieces of its exterior ripped away.An ambulance was also called and a 39-year-old woman and 43-year-old man were taken to University Hospital Monklands.The couple have been named locally as Scott and Donna Donnelly.
