Two arrests as stolen car bearing false number plates halted with 'stinger' device

Two men have been arrested after a stolen car was pursued and brought to a halt by a "stinger" device. The Ford Fiesta, bearing fake number plates, was spotted driving around Bolton, Greater Manchester.

Greater Manchester Police's traffice force tweeted at 2.20am today (Thursday): "This stolen Fiesta on false plates was seen driving around Bolton. "The vehicle was pursued by XT and @GMPDogs patrols and followed by @NPASNorthWest.
