A woman has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill after a school was placed in lockdown. Pupils at Golborne High in Wigan pupils were forced to hide under desks after a 'gun' threat was made over the internet.
Worried relatives rushed to the gates after armed police were called to the school on Monday. Classes were halted at 10.40am after online threats from someone claiming to have a gun and targeting the school. On Tuesday afternoon a 26-year-old woman was arrested in Levenshulme, south Manchester, on suspicion of making threats to kill.
