Man arrested in Bolton after failing roadside drugs test

A man who was wanted for theft has been arrested after failing a roadside drugs test in Bolton. The man, who was driving a red Nissan Micra, was flagged down by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) traffic officers on Firwood Grove in Tonge Moor.

The vehicle was seized after checks showed he had no driving licence or car insurance. Police added that he failed a roadside drugs test and was subsequently found to be wanted on suspicion of a theft offence.
