Rising Las Vegas rapper Baby Keem’s 2019 track, “ORANGE SODA,” served as a breakout moment for him last year, with over 70 million Spotify streams to date.
Now, however, it’s getting some of his fans in trouble on social media. As Complex notes, Keem recently tweeted about fans receiving Twitter suspensions for sharing his lyrics: Based on fans' tweets, it seems the suspensions stem from users quoting lyrics from the second verse of “ORANGE SODA”: When divorced from the context of the previous line (“I hate a b*tch that I can’t impress”), it appears Twitter is interpreting these lyrics as a threat of violence.
