TOWIE star James Argent, known as "Arg", has splashed £40,000 on a shiny new motor despite not being able to drive it.The 34-year-old, who first found fame on the ITV reality show in 2010, shared a snap next to his purchase in a swish car showroom on his Instagram stories.Although James stood proudly next to his blue 4x4 Land Rover, he admitted to his 851k followers that he's not able to drive it yet as he hasn't passed his driving test.Wearing bright red trousers and a white T-shirt, a newly-slimmed James told his followers he was: "Preparing for when I finally pass my driving test."The caption continued: "I paid a visit to Rockstar Finance to get my dream car on order."Although he passed his theory test in September 2018, Arg told his fans at the time that the milestone took him over 13 years to complete and 10 fails for him to be awarded a pass.Sharing the news on his social media at the time, he excitedly told his fans: "I'VE FINALLY PASSED MY CAR DRIVING THEORY TEST!!!"After more then 13 years & 11 attempts, I've finally managed to do it! #Proud #Believe #Achieve."Five years on and James still has not managed to pass his practical test, despite appearing on E4's All Star Driving School.Although he was thrilled at passing his theory back in 2018, a photo of his theory test certificate showed that it had an expiry date of June 2020, meaning he may have to start from scratch.Over the years the TOWIE star has been getting around on a moped, although he's had a few bumps.In May 2021, Arg was involved in a road accident on his baby blue vesper and was left with cuts and bruises.Despite his driving mishaps, James has recently shared the secret behind his incredible 13 stone weight loss.He admitted to developing a.
