We "don't need to worry too much" about the UK's food supply after Brexit, the Tory in charge of the nation's food supply has declared.
George Eustice said the fact supermarkets survived despite coronavirus panic-buying showed the supply chain is "remarkably resilient".
The Environment Secretary added: "Generally speaking, I think we are more confident than ever we don't need to worry too much about the end of the transition period." Mr Eustice also revealed he deliberately didn't tell people to stop panic-buying during the Covid-19 outbreak - because it might make it worse.
