Clue that Maldives, Cuba and Mexico may be included on next ‘air bridge’ list

The UK government may announce that holidaymakers can soon travel to Cuba, Cape Verde and the Maldives quarantine-free. Currently travellers to these destinations have to isolate upon their return under current restrictions.

But the Government is considering allowing holidaymakers to jet off to more countries without facing the strict measures once home.

In advance of an announcement on June 27, the Foreign Office has quietly updated the advice pages of more than a dozen countries.

The Telegraph reports that an amendment has been added, stating "Editorial review to remove ‘Return to the UK’ section and improve ‘Coronavirus' section." The same note was previously added to each of the destinations that were previously announced as approved
