TOP Gear viewers were forced to "switch off" after just one episode and have called for the BBC to axe the show. Presenters Freddie Flintoff, Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris  returned for the 32nd series of the BBC motoring series.

The new season featured a road trip to Florida to compete in some wacky races, Freddie bobsleighing in a Sinclair C5, and the lads putting their dream TV cop cars through their paces.

They got about in a gas-guzzling motorhome but got stuck in mud. Then Harris sprained his ankle and completed the show on crutches.
