BBC Breakfast viewers have slammed Naga Munchetty after her "awkward" exchange with a reporter live on air. The TV presenter and her co-host Charlie Stayt could be seen encouraging Andrew Plant to strip down and go for a swim.
Andrew had headed down to Clevedon, Somerset, to meet with sunshine seekers enjoying the hot weather on Friday morning. Dressed in a shirt and shorts, he interviewed swimmers dipping into the cold seawater to cool off as temperatures soar across the UK. "It will be the hottest day of 2022," Andrew concluded, as he linked back to Naga, 47, and Charlie, 59, in the BBC studio.
