Emmerdale viewers have blasted show bosses after they received “yet another” warning of “distressing scenes” before an episode of the soap opera.
As the soap prepared to air it’s latest episode, viewers were hit with the following warning when the announcer read: “with strong emotions and scenes of distress some viewers may find upsetting, it’s Emmerdale.” The warning has been a regular fixture of late on the drama-filled series, with some viewers saying they’re switching off as the show has become “too dark.”“Oh god, upsetting scenes etc etc.
I love a bit of early evening light entertainment. Why is Emmerdale always so dark?” blasted one viewer.“Scenes of distress isn’t that every night?
I’m out take care everybody,” said a second. While a third added: “The fact that there’s a warning every episode is ridiculous why is this show so miz al the time!?”This is a live TV story and is being constantly updated.
