Tom Marquand hopes his charmed relationship with Australia continues in the early hours of Saturday morning when he has three fancied rides at the opening of the huge Autumn Racing Carnival in Rosehill, Sydney.
Marquand, 21, partners two William Haggas-trained runners, Addeybb and Young Rascal, who will start as first or second favourites, and he continues his association with local hope Prague in the world’s richest two-year-old race, the Longines Golden Slipper (5.30am live on Sky), worth £1m to the winner.
