Sign up today for the best stories straight to your inboxA toddler has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after she fell from a car into the road before being struck by a second vehicle.Police were called at around 3pm on Saturday to reports of an incident in Accrington, Lancashire.Officers found a 20-month-old girl with injuries, who was later rushed to to Manchester Children’s Hospital for emergency treatment.The girl is believed to have fallen from inside the rear door of a yellow Toyota Prius car onto a road.
She was then involved in a collision with a maroon Peugeot, driven by a woman in her 50s.Two men, believed to be the driver and a passenger in the Toyota, were arrested by.
