Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

TikTok speeding craze slammed by cops as boy racers post 170mph clips

Boy racers have turned quiet streets into race tracks as they film social media videos while driving recklessly at more than 170mph.

Police have warned of the dangers involved and road safety charity Brake is urging social media firms to clamp down on users who upload such clips.

We found a video on TikTok of a driver whose phone recorded him doing 173mph on a motorway. He also drove at high speed in wet ­conditions, on minor roads and around blind corners.

Some clips of high-speed driving have had thousands of views, raising fears copycats in souped-up cars will try to beat other drivers’ speed records. What is your view?
