A thug once dubbed ‘Scotland’s Worst Teenager’ is behind bars after being caught in possession of a kitchen knife. Gavin Inkster had been ejected from a Sainsbury’s Local branch in Edinburgh when he told staff he was carrying a blade.
Cops caught the 31-year-old nearby and later discovered Inkster had downed 40 valium tablets before committing the offence. Inkster became notorious in 2009 when he got an Asbo banning him from the whole of Midlothian after terrorising neighbours.Four years later he was convicted of a sex attack on a girl under 13.
Inkster appeared via video link at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday from the city’s Saughton Prison where he was being held on remand.
