Storm Barra is set to batter the UK with strong winds, heavy rain and snow on Tuesday. The deep area of low-pressure has moved in from the Atlantic, with the strongest winds impacting Ireland, before weakening and arriving in the UK.
Strong winds and rain are predicted across the country, with the possibility of rain turning to snow in northern England and Scotland.
Several weather warnings are in place across the country as forecasters predict the storm could cause disruption to travel, damage to trees and to powerlines.
