But for a June wedding this year, he has created an extraordinary bespoke poppy crown for a bride’s garden nuptials.Oversized and gleamingly gold-toned, it is handmade in brass for lightness and looks like something Titania would have dreamt up. “Gold and silver were far too heavy for the scale of this piece,” Thompson Royds explains. “Also, you don’t want to feel like you can’t dance or move on your wedding day.
