A huge tower offering 360-degree panoramic views from hundreds of feet above Manchester could appear over Christmas - should lockdown restrictions allow it.Described as ‘one of the tallest mobile attractions in the world’, SkyView360 is set to appear in Exchange Square under plans submitted to Manchester council.The slow-moving rotating observation deck lined rises from the base of the LED-lined tower, which would be set up adjacent to Selfridges and the Arndale, to reach a height of 80 metres - or more than 250 ft.It will be able to hold 36 people at one time, though the number is signfiicantly reduced from the original capacity due to Covid.Planning documents suggest the site will be designed to encourage social distancing, with one.
