direct to your inbox A pub in Manchester city centre has been hit with a fine after it allowed customers in to drink during the coronavirus lockdown.
An officer from Greater Manchester Police tweeted about the 'reckless behaviour' on Tuesday evening (December 1).They said licensing officers had found customers drinking inside the bar.This is despite all hospitality venues across Greater Manchester - and across the country - being banned from opening under the current national lockdown restrictions.Pubs, bars and restaurants are allowed to open in some areas from tomorrow (Wednesday).
