Terrifying moment hit-and-run driver sends biker flying over bridge into river

dailystar.co.ukHeart-stopping video has emerged of a drunk-driver slamming into a scooter rider so hard that the smaller vehicle goes flying into the air and into a river.
CCTV footage shows a dark-coloured saloon driving on the opposite lane of a traffic bridge in the city of Yueyang, Hunan province in southern China.
The driver, who is known by the surname Zhang, scraped his car along the barrier before crashing head-on to an electric scooter.
The impact is so strong that the biker is sent tumbling into the air, over the barrier and plunging into the river below. Mr Zhang does not appear to have stopped for a second and the footage shows his car drive off.
