The "cruel" thug who murdered 11-year-old school boy, Rhys Jones, has been branded "disgusting" and "evil" over his attempt to appeal his jail sentence.
Sean Mercer was just 16-years-old when he was sentenced to life imprisonment for fatally shooting Rhys in 2007, in Croxteth.
