Just five years before Sarah’s abduction, Whiting was caged for snatching a schoolgirl in broad daylight and sexually assaulting her in his grimy Ford Sierra.
The nine-year-old sobbed in terror as Whiting molested her with a blade pressed to her throat – but the perv was released just two and a half years later.
