Wargasm have announced new UK tour dates in Spring 2024 in support of Poppy. The electro-metal duo took to social media on Monday (December 18) to announce their first tour dates since their nine-date headlining UK and Ireland tour behind their debut album, ‘Venom’.

Iron Maiden‘s Bruce Dickinson has spoken about the lack of arena-level rock and metal bands.The frontman gave his thoughts in an interview with Swedish radio station Bandit Rock, where he spoke about a recent conversation he had with a Brazilian promoter. Corey Taylor has revealed that he’s working on his first-ever film score.Speaking to TellUs Rock for a new interview in supported of his latest solo album ‘CMF2’, the Slipknot frontman shared about what he’s currently up to now that Slipknot have wrapped up their performances for the year.“I’m going to the studio to start recording my first score for a movie that I’m involved with,” the 49-year-old. However, Taylor said he wasn’t able to share more information about the film or the score he is working on.“I can’t tell you which one it is. I’ve been sworn to secrecy, and I’m actually saying more than I could.

Metallica have announced their final show of 2023 which will take place at a festival in Saudi Arabia next month.The band will be headlining the opening night of the three-day Soundstorm festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on December 14. Metallica took to their official Facebook page to share the announcement of their final 2023 gig.“We’re not done with 2023 just yet, as an amazing opportunity has just come our way to perform at a major festival that we have never played in a part of the world we rarely get to visit,” they wrote.

Ozzy Osbourne has made the grim statement that he thinks he has “10 years left” to live.The legendary metal musician and former frontman of Black Sabbath made the revelation in a recent interview with Rolling Stone UK, in which the Prince Of Darkness spoke about his lengthy health troubles, which have included numerous surgeries in the last couple of years.During his chat with the publication, Osbourne spoke about his outlook on death, saying that he doesn’t “fear dying”, but that he doesn’t want to have “a long, painful and miserable experience”.He went on to add that he told his wife Sharon that he had smoked a joint recently: “She said ‘What are you doing that for! Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has shut down rumours that the Iowan metal band have found their new drummer.Earlier this month (November 5), Slipknot shocked fans by announcing the departure of longtime drummer, Jay Weinberg – who had been with the metal outfit since 2014. Spotify is set to release its annual ‘Wrapped’ feature once again this year, where music fans can look back at their favourite releases of 2023.The feature arrives at the end of each year and shares stats, rankings and summaries with subscribers about their most listened to songs, albums, podcasts artists and genres.The streaming service has already begun teasing the rollout of this year’s ‘Wrapped’.
