Cannibal Corpse have announced their first-ever colouring book, set for release next month.This past weekend (November 2), the legendary death metal band took to social media to announced the book, titled The Official Cannibal Corpse Colouring Book. The colouring book – targeted at adults – is due for release on December 1 and is available for pre-order in the UK via Eyesore Merch now at £12.99.The book – which the band claim is “the first colouring book in history” to come with a Parental Advisory warning – features some of the band’s most infamous and gory artwork, designed by artist Vincent Locke.The book – like much of Cannibal Corpse’s earlier albums – has been banned for sale in Germany over explicit content and graphic imagery.

Slipknot have announced that they have parted ways with drummer Jay Weinberg. In an official social media statement, the Iowa band said that they are “intent on evolving”, and have made the “creative decision” that Weinberg will leave the band. It is the second time in five months that the band have lost a member, after keyboardist Craig Jones left the group in June.

Iron Maiden have announced a North American leg of their ‘Future Past Tour’ set to commence in autumn 2024.Kicking off on October 4, 2024, the metal veterans will play at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in San Diego, CA. From there, the band will head off to major cities such as Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Portland, Denver, Rosemont, Toronto, Quebec and Montreal.The following month, the group will take on the East Coast on November 1 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Rush has revealed that he will be hosting a new docu-series about bassists – featuring musicians from Nirvana, Metallica and more.Titled Geddy Lee Asks: Are Bass Players Human Too?, the documentary series will be arriving on Paramount+ later this year, and see the prog-rock icon catch up with various famous faces from across the rock and metal world.It will be structured as a four-part series, the show is set to unpick the world of bass players and features the Rush legend engaging in random activities with fellow bassists including Krist Novoselic of Nirvana and Robert Trujillo of Metallica.Other famous faces include former Hole and Smashing Pumpkins bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur, as well as rock legend and Primus frontman Les Claypool.
