As the Queen plans to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee, Harry, Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet are staying at Frogmore Cottage between engagements - but their canine namesakes are hoping to secure their own royal residencies of their own for the bank holiday.

The climactic day of the Platinum Jubilee will be marked by a pageant celebrating some key aspects of British life.

BBC viewers unimpressed last night as he belted out Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Party. Sex Pistols‘ notorious anti-monarchy anthem ‘God Save The Queen’ was the biggest-selling single in the UK.The 1977 hit was reissued on Friday (June 3), and hit the top spot exactly 45 years after it was notoriously denied Number One. The protest song was officially released by the band via Virgin in May 1977.

Since Thursday, several celebrations have taken place in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.The queen is the first British monarch to reach the milestone of serving 70 years on the throne. Members of the royal family have attended the Trooping the Colour ceremony, the service of thanksgiving and Saturday's Epsom Derby.  Queen Elizabeth has only missed two derby days during her reign, and this year marked the third.  The finale of the festivities celebrating the Queen is the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.

Queen Elizabeth's 70-year reign of the British Monarchy will be celebrated Sunday with the Big Lunch. Communities across the United Kingdom will sit down and share lunch with neighbors and friends to honor the queen.The Big Lunch is one of many events used to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. It follows Silver, Gold and Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 1977, 2002 and 2012, which marked 25, 50 and 60 years on the throne.

Prince Charles praised his "mummy" the Queen in a touching speech on Saturday evening, as he gushed over her historic 70 year long reign.The Prince of Wales, 73, was met with cheers of the 22,000 royal fans gathered outside Buckingham Palace as he thanked the monarch on behalf of "the whole world" for her incredible dedication to duty.The incredible live event was filled with live music from Rod Stewart, Duran Duran and sweet moments, including Prince George singing along to Rod Stewart and the Queen's surprise comic sketch with Paddington Bear. Royal Family members including Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton and Zara Tindall attended the event to watch the celebrations in aid of the monarch's historic Platinum Jubilee.

The Queen may have decided to skip the music concert held as part of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations, but that didn’t stop her stealing the show with a surprise cameo role in a sketch to kick off the event. 

Superstars from both sides of the Atlantic joined forces on Saturday evening in London to put on a Platinum Party at the Palace, as part of the celebrations to celebrate the British monarch’s 70th anniversary on the throne. 

Elton John, 75, is known for his legendary performances and his pre-recorded appearance at the Platinum Jubilee concert did not disappoint.The singer performed Your Song with fans comparing the performance to what he did at Princess Diana's funeral in 1997.Elton performed at the Platinum Jubilee Party at the Palace in a pre-recorded performance.Prior to his performance, he paid tribute to the Queen, as he said: "Your majesty, congratulations on 70 amazing years as our ruling monarch."It's been an amazing journey for you and you've been such a big part of my life ever since I was a child up until the present day."I wanted to record something for you in a place that you would love."So, here we are in the red drawing room at Windsor Castle."I thought it would be the ideal place to pay tribute to your amazing reign and long may you reign, thank you."He then performed Your Song, with Twitter users rushing to the microblogging site to share comparisons to Elton's performance at Diana's funeral in 1997.Maxine_Musgrove said: "Anyone else got wet eyes right now, with Elton John singing My song and remembering Princess Diana??? #PlatinumPartyatthePalace."Priz_pri added: "Elton John....Prince William must be remembering his mother, Diana #PlatinumJubilee #PlatinumPartyatthePalace."Nurse_palmer commented: "Elton John oh goodness this concert. Prince George was spotted having a whale of a time as he sang along to Sir Rod Stewart singing Sweet Caroline. George, eight, was accompanied by his younger sister Charlotte, seven, and his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for the Party at the Palace.The family were, of course, sat in the Royal box alongside the likes of Prince Charles and Camila, Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie, and Zara Tindall. During this evening’s festivities for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, young George was spotted singing to the hit song, as Prince William enthusiastically did so as well.

Cheeky comedian Lee Mack wasted no time in using the Queen's Platinum Jubilee as an opportunity to stick the knife in Boris Johnson – metaphorically of course.The northern comic, 53, opened the concert, which is being held outside the gates of Buckingham Palace, by making light of the so-called 'partygate' affair in Downing Street. Speaking with the Prime Minister in attendance, who was in the royal box, Mack said: "Finally we can say the words ‘party’ and ‘gate’ and it’s a positive." The joke drew cheers and laughs from the crowd.The embarrassing quip comes just a day after the PM was booed outside St Paul's Cathedral as he attended the Thanksgiving service with members of the Royal Family.

Pippa Middleton has sparked speculation she and husband James Matthews are expecting their third child together.The 38 year old sister of Kate Middleton arrived at Buckingham Palace looking gorgeous in a green dress with a v-neck as she enjoyed the festivities on 4 June. Author and columnist Pippa, who recently followed in her sister's footsteps by recycling outfits, appeared to be glowing as she linked her hands together above her tummy while smiling to the camera.

It's been a big day for the royal family with an array of different events going on, on Saturday 4 June. The Platinum Jubilee celebrations are well and truly under way, and while the Queen has been "enjoying them from her sofa" as Zara Phillips shared, other royals were out in force representing Her Majesty.Today alone there's been the Episom Derby, the Jubilee concert and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's trip to Wales with the kids in tow.

Posh Spice shared the post today, Saturday 4 June, to mark the monarch’s Platinum Jubilee, and mimicked several poses the Queen’s done over the years – from cheers-ing a glass of wine and sitting on a throne, to sipping a cup of tea and walking her dogs. Victoria captioned the post: “70 years of being an inspiration to so many! Including me, clearly! Congratulations to Her Majesty The Queen on The Platinum Jubilee, what an achievement”.The mum-of-four has since received backlash for the post however, with one person describing her as an "embarrassment”.
