Confidence Man have announced their new ‘Fabric Presents…’ mix and have shared their new single ‘Break It Down (On The Bassline)’.The Australian band have teamed up with fellow Australian DJ/Producer duo IN2STELLAR on ‘Break It Down (On The Bassline)’, a bouncy and pulsing dance track that features Confidence Man’s Janet Planet singing “Break it down on the bassline” ahead of the bass drop.They have teamed up with Fabric – the iconic hub of electronic music culture – for ‘Fabric Presents Confidence Man’, which has been described by the band in a press release as a “bunch of songs that we’ve been playing at parties and dj sets etc combined with a bunch of older tunes we’ve loved for ages.”They continued: “Also a bunch of tunes sent thru from friends we also dig. Were tryin to make something we’d love to dance to.” And on today’s collaboration, IN2STELLAR adds: “We’ve had countless nights out partying / clubbing with Confidence Man and have always bonded over our shared love for early 2000s club bangers and DJing.

Orbital have teamed up with actor Tilda Swinton for new single ‘Deepest’, a reworking of the duo’s 1989 track ‘Deeper’. BBC Radio 1 has announced the line-up for its 2025 edition for the first day of this year’s Big Weekend.The annual festival is due to take place at Sefton Park in Liverpool from Friday May 23 to Sunday May 25. Tickets will be available from Thursday (March 13) from 5pm GMT here.Earlier this year, a host of acts were announced across the weekend with Sam Fender, Blossoms, Lola Young, Wet Leg and BRITs Rising Star 2025 winner Myles Smith all previously confirmed.Now, Tom Grennan has been announced as the Friday night headliner, while the likes of Biffy Clyro, Confidence Man, Barry Can’t Swim, Nia Archives, Katy B and The Wombats are also on the bill.

Glastonbury‘s charity partner Greenpeace has announced its programme for this year’s festival, promising to “change hearts and minds” and encourage “protest, activism and voting” ahead of the UK’s General Election.This year’s Greenpeace Field is set to focus on three “central pillars” for “effective climate action” – protest, activism and voting.
