THE curse of Strictly has forced bosses to scrap plans for celebs and pros to isolate together. They will instead be in a “bubble” system with regular testing ahead of the BBC show.
However, the dancers are isolating together this month so they can pre-record group routines. A telly source said: “The idea of holing sexy dancers up with celebrities made it impossible to sign anybody up.” The curse most recently struck in 2018, when TV host Stacey Dooley left her boyfriend for dance partner Kevin Clifton.
Meanwhile, ITV’s I’m a Celebrity is reportedly planning to axe the traditional boozy wrap party. Contestants will instead fly straight home.
