St Mirren Women have brought in some much-needed reinforcements just in time for this weekend’s Renfrewshire derby.The Buddies have been struggling with coronavirus issues in the last few weeks, with their depleted squad suffering a painful 14-2 trouncing at the hands of in-form Gartcairn last weekend.It doesn’t get any easier for the Saints as tomorrow they welcome high-flying local rivals Renfrew Ladies to their Linwood home.They have been boosted by the addition of twin sisters Eva and Sophie Payne, who have both joined on loan from Partick Thistle, as well as former Inverness left-back Layla Phillip on a permanent deal.
