Furious Ibrox chiefs insist St Mirren chairman John Needham is not fit for office after blasting his “appalling” Rangers tweets.

The Paisley chief has been slapped with a £6000 SFA fine for posting a string of messaged targeting the Light Blues and their support.

The former bank boss - who branded Gers fans “h*ns” in one post - was charged with making “discriminatory or offensive” comments by Hampden disciplinary chiefs.But Rangers have now questioned his role as a Premiership chairman after hitting back at his social media slurs.An Ibrox spokesman said: “Rangers notes the SFA have recognised the appalling nature of these comments which are not befitting of a person in football leadership.“We are acutely aware that Mr Needham’s comments
